Madness Adventure Racing

In the late 1970's on the fringe of the running craze people began to realize that a 10K or a marathon just wasn't enough.  Yearning for more than what communities provided, ordinary people found adventure. Then came wilderness, pristine waters and highlands with breath taking views to become the backdrop for extreme challenges to come.

Madness Racing originated in 2005 in response to a challenge. With numerous races now behind it, the organization has evolved from a group of guys racing for fun to a nonprofit organization racing for a cause. Let's face it, we're all busy. With so many responsibilities and endless distractions, it can be difficult to focus on fitness. When it comes to getting in shape Madness is dedicated to helping individuals change their mindset from 'maybe' to 'definitely'.

 
How? Through a mix of camaraderie, challenge and charity! With generous sponsorship, Madness Racing continues to support local charities, promote the positive aspects of fitness and be a visible example of a 'can do' attitude and the power of team-work. Helping the individual helps the community and this is what makes Madness truly contagious.

Madness has now grown from the original 3 to 16 in three different states.  In 2010 Madness Racing will compete in more than 30 different races in more than 5 different states.  Along with racing they will host their first adventure race for charity.  Madness is in Virginia, Utah and Arizona.  Check us out  www.madnessracing.com
