Adrian Gonzalez

Adrian is without a doubt one of major league baseballs finest players. Born in San Ysidro, California, Adrian split his youth between Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, CA. He was the first overall draft pick in the 2000 MLB draft and made his big league debut with the Texas Rangers in 2004. Adrian was the first high school infielder taken in the first round since Alex Rodriguez in 1993.
Adrian was drafted to the Marlins program in 2000 and would be later traded to the Texas Rangers in 2003 where he would make his first major league appearance. Then fulfilling a life long dream of playing for his home team the Padres, Adrian was traded in 2006. Adrian’s Career exploded with the Padres where he made a solid name for himself as one of Major Leagues premium players.

Adrian has secured the respect and admiration of teammates and coaches alike with his incredible contributions on the field, and his well-mannered charm. As a reward for his consistent offensive production, Adrian has been named to three All-Star teams in his major league career. Adrian comes form a dedicated baseball family. Adrian, along with his brother Edgar and father David, a star Mexican amatur player, are known as the first family of Mexican baseball.
